Celebrating the survival from Cancer and also creating awareness among the citizens, is the motive behind the birth of  “The Festival of Hope” which started by Shalini Vig Wadhwa in 2012.   The Millennium City witnessed the third Festival of Hope in association with the Indian Cancer Society, showcasing fashions from select designers Varija bajaj, Meenal Khokker, Gopa Kumar, Pawan Sachdeva, Neena Singh & Chandni Kocchar on Cancer survivors.  Walked along with these survivors were Industrialist Sanjeev Bijli, Arjan Bajwa, Special guests for the evening included Bollywood celebrities Neena Gupta,  Swaroop Sampat Rawal, Mr. R C Dalal, Mr. Aakash Ohri etc. The festival also applauded the men who have stood tall and strong for the women they love when breast cancer strikes a female loved one.

Designers Varija Bajaj said – ‘It is an honour and pleasure to be associated with Festival of hope for cancer awareness. It is a brilliant effort and I am only humbled to be a part of such a noble cause.’
